Professor Maggie Snowling visits Collis

We were really lucky to have Professor Maggie Snowling come to visit parents and staff here at Collis early in March. As President of St Johns University, Oxford and an eminent figure in research surrounding Dyslexia, she presented ‘Dyslexia – Language and Intervention’. Discussing theory behind current definitions of Dyslexia, the benefit of early language intervention and practical strategies to support children with literacy difficulties, the seminar was insightful and thought-provoking.
