Year 6 Boys Represent Brentford FC
We have had more sporting excitement as our Year 6 boys represented Brentford FC at the NPower Kids Cup Regional Finals at Charlton Athletic. Over 500 schools entered this year’s event, so to make it through to the last 12 was a great achievement. Our magnificent team defeated Walsall, Charlton Athletic, Wycombe Wanderers, Yeovil Town, Exeter City and AFC Bournemouth en route to being crowned Southern Champions. The event organisers and fellow competitors were full of praise for our boys, highlighting their technical brilliance and wonderful team spirit and attitude. We played some glorious football throughout the day and ended with a goal tally of 33 goals for and 1 against. We have now got a National Final to look forward to against Oldham Athletic to be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 26th May. A truly outstanding achievement!
