Years 5 and 6 Chamber Choir with Hampton Preparatory School
On Monday 18th November, the Year 5 and 6 Chamber Choir joined forces with Hampton Prep for a day of carol singing at the ITV studios at White City. Fourteen of our children have been practising carols with the boys from Hampton Prep, and were given an opportunity to perform to the passers- by and staff at the iconic building.
We took charity buckets for the Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice and collected a significant amount of money. After lunch and carolling we were treated to a tour of the studios where ‘Good Morning’ is filmed. After having a seat in Piers Morgan’s chair the children visited the sound and vision suite, we met floor managers and were able to ask lots of questions. Apparently the favourite guest is Basil Brush!
The choir have three further events coming up - two at residential care homes in Hounslow and one at T2 Heathrow on 6th December.
