OFSTED INSPECTION REPORT - APRIL 2025

We are delighted to share the Collis OFSTED report with you following our recent inspection on 1st and 2nd April 2025. Collis Primary School has been judged as Outstanding in all areas:

• The Quality of Education – Outstanding
• Behaviour and Attitudes – Outstanding
• Personal Development – Outstanding
• Leadership and Management – Outstanding
• Early Years Provision – Outstanding

We are incredibly proud that OFSTED has recognised the exceptional education provided at Collis, underpinned by strong leadership and an ambitious, well-sequenced curriculum. Inspectors praised our pupils’ love of learning, their exemplary behaviour, and the safe, supportive environment in which they thrive. Collis children are happy and achieve highly across the curriculum. Reading was recognised as a strength starting at early years through to Year 6, with effective support in place for those who need it most.

In addition to the above, a big thank you for your parental support, particularly during the inspection when you got behind the school and completed 482 responses on the Parent View form.
The highlights from your feedback include:

• 100% of families say their child is happy at this school
• 99% say their child feels safe at this school

Collis continues to be a fantastic ‘big family’, and our priority will always be to put the children at the heart of everything we do. We are so proud of our children and our school community.
