Introduction to The Collis After Time Scheme (CATS)

CATS provide wrap-around care for Collis pupils from Reception to Year 6.  It creates a safe and happy environment in which children are cared for whilst their parents are at work.  The club is run by qualified staff and is managed by the school.

Term time sessions

CATS is open every day during the school term.  The morning scheme runs from 7.30am with breakfast served between 7.45am and 8.10am.  Children are then seen into their classes for the start of the day.  During the morning session children are provided with breakfast followed by indoor and outdoor play / arts and crafts / reading time.  After school, children are taken to the CATS rooms where they have a light snack.  Pick up is at 5.55pm at the latest.  CATS closes at 6pm sharp.

During the afternoon a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities are offered including computers, football, tennis, table football, snooker, arts and crafts and board games.  There is a quiet area set aside for homework and reading.
