Introduction to The Collis After Time Scheme (CATS)

CATS provide wrap-around care for Collis pupils.  It creates a safe and happy environment in which children are cared for whilst their parents are at work.  The club is run by qualified staff and is managed by the school.

Term time sessions

From September 2018 CATS will be offering 62 places for the morning and 62 places for the after-school sessions.  Waiting lists will be held if necessary.  Waiting list forms are available from the CATS room or school office.  Completed forms should be submitted to the CATS manager, Lee Digby.

CATS is open every day during the school term.  The morning scheme runs from 7.50am and children are seen into their classes for the start of the day.  At the morning session children are provided with breakfast.  After school, children are taken to the CATS rooms where they have a light snack.  Pick up is at 5.55pm at the latest.  CATS closes at 6pm sharp.

A wide range of indoor & outdoor activities are offered including computers, football, tennis, table football, snooker, arts and crafts and board games.  There is a quiet area set aside for homework.

Please note that CATS can only allocate places to children who are aged 5 and over.
