The School Day

All children should arrive in school between 8:40am and 8:50am and wait in the playground. A green and red sign is displayed on the Year 5 balcony and Year 4 corridor.  The green side of the sign signals when the children can go into the school building.  Children in Years 1–6 go into their classrooms at 8:45am. Reception staff open their doors for the children at 8:50am.

Drop-off and collection

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school – we want to have good links with all parents. If normal arrangements have to be altered (eg you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.

Getting to school

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option!  If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.
